Hitiki has a Blog

As you may know, I work for the Hitiki project right now in Bangalore. This „online travel guide with a community feel“ is not yet online but already has a blog.

The reason we started it was mainly for the recruitment of new people. Many of our applicants have never been to India. And recruiting via e-mail and phone interviews is not an easy task (for both sides). So we hope the Hitiki Blog makes our project a little bit more real. 🙂

Have a look at the Hitiki job openings, maybe you know somebody who would like to work in Bangalore for some months?

And of course read blog.hitiki.com online or add it to your RSS-feedreader!

Usability: Der 5-Sekunden-Test

Was sind deine Möglichkeiten?“

Technologists working on the next generation of Web application technologies scoff at the idea that a JavaScript renaissance is going to threaten their vision of the future.

C|Net: Will AJAX help Google clean up?

GMail Backup on Local Computer

I just suggested a new feature to GMail:

Offer a way to download all messages older than x days to a local computer and make them searchable (i.e. using Google Desktop Search).

This would be a way to clean up disk space while keeping older e-mails. 1 GB is smaller than we may think!

And another one (March 29th):

Include a download-feature so I can burn my old e-mails on CDROM.

If you want that feature too, please let Google know!

Task Maps statt Site Maps
